Title: Rare Varieties Needed
Author: APS
Citation
Abstract:
A number of fruit growers have requested that we publish lists of rare varieties of fruits which are needed to complete their collections. We are pleased to act as a clearing house in locating these old sorts which have high quality or other characteristics which the fruit variety fancier is anxious to perpetuate.

In initiating this service we would like to assemble a list of varieties which are now present in the orchards of fruit variety fanciers. Grow~rs who 'have' such collections and who are willing to ex' change propagating wood with other growers are requested to send a list of their varieties to the Editor. Rare varieties which do not appear on these lists, will be included on our "Search List" which will be published periodically in the Fruit Garden section of this magazine.

Richard M. Fagley of New York would like to locate the following fruit varieties. Any grower or nurseryman who knows where plants or propagating material can be secured is asked to contact the Editor.
