Title: Cultural Studies on Edible Palisade Fungi of the Ukraine

Abstract:

Mushroom cultivation is of a great value for obtaining protein food, biologically active substances etc. The number of edible mushroom species grown in greenhouses and in the open air is some near ten, while sporophores of hundreds of the species of edible fungi can't be grown in botanical culture because of their biological and ecological specificity. The real use of these fungi as a source of protein food and biological active substances may be fulfilled only by growing them in pure culture. So cultural studies on edible palisade fungi of the Ukrainian flora were made.
