Abstract: Accumulated evidences have shown that the fructification of commercial cultivated mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, requirted low PCO2 while high PCO2 is not in good agreement with good frucitification of the mushroom (Kinrus, 1968; Lambert, 1933; Long, and Jacob, 1968; Rasmussen, 1962; Thomas, 1972; Tschierpe and Sinden, 1964). Therefore, the writers have measured PCO2 inside the compost in cultivation beds of the mushroom with the use of membrane-covered glass electrode (Huang et al., 1974).
