Year 1967
Title: A Spawning and Mixing Machine for Mushroom Beds
Author: P.J. Bels

Abstract:

It has been found that (1) when there are many points of inoculation the compost will soon be completely invaded by mycelium, (2) enrichment of compost before casing results in increased yields. Small-scale experiments have shown that both ideas are correct and we have arrived at the stage where these findings can be applied to commercial growing.
