Abstract: The consumption of mushrooms in Sweden has very much increased in the latest years. This is due to the high standard of living, which has enabled a lot of people, who have not earlier used mushrooms, now a days to use more and more of this product in there housekeeping. The propaganda done by the growers as well as by the sellers has combined to increase consumption. The fact that fresh mushrooms nowadays always can be received makes, it possible in planning a festivity to use mushrooms more and more on the menu.
