Abstract: Three fungal diseases, Trichoderma green mold, Verticillium dry bubble, and cobweb (Cladobotryum) currently influence the worldwide cultivation of Agaricus bisporus. Several registered and new fungicides were evaluated in vitro and in vivo to assess their effectiveness for controlling these fungal diseases. Preliminary data suggested that isolates of the pathogens collected at mushrooms farms over the last year have a high resistance to the available fungicides. Management procedures on commercial mushroom farms were investigated in order to determine those having the most significant impact on disease development.
