Abstract: We have completed a three-year study on the cultivation of Lepista nuda (wood blewit) in an indoor growing system. Several growing parameters were investigated, including spawn rate, tunnel incubation, supplementation, casing soil and watering. Although the parameters are open for further investigation, the findings thus far have led to a remarkable increase in yield. This was achieved by the adaptation of various growing factors and using controlled environment conditions with traditional Agaricus bisporus raw materials. The findings of our study will be presented and the scope of future research will be outlined.
