Abstract: An assay method for disease resistance of Lentinus edodes against Trichoderma spp., especially, against Trichoderma harzianum was developed. Small mycelial blocks of the mushroom were sprayed with conidiospores of Trichoderma and incubated under humid conditions. After incubation, disease severity of mycelial blocks was determined to evaluate disease resistance of strains. To get consistent results several culture conditions were examined.
