Title: A new hybrid of Blewit (Lepista nuda): Cultural investigations and flavour analysis

Abstract:

A new hybrid of Lepista nuda was named Ferland and is traded through an agreement between INRA-Agri-Obtentions and Sylvan Somycel under the reference 4102 Sylvan. From seven cultivation experiments, data were collected on yields, fruiting rythm, sporocarps size... The aromatic compounds of Ferland were analyzed by gas chromatography and mass-spectrometry. The distribution in the different parts of caps indicated that the major components are mainly concentrated in the gills.
