Abstract: In this paper an inventory will be given of computer applications in mushroom business. The applications in Phase I, Phase II and in growing rooms arc analysed. The profits of the microprocessor in mushroom control will depend on the investment costs and savings on labour costs. Large scale farms will be the first users, small growers will follow soon if the investments can be cut down. An appeal to all computer manufacturers and mushroom societies is done to cooperate in creating exchangeable software for all brands.
