Abstract: Commercial cultivation of different edible mushrooms including Agaricus bisporus, Pleurotus species, Volvanella volvacea, Auricularia polytncha and Strophana rugosoannulata is being popularized in India. In addition to Morchella species, Cantharellus cibarius, Podaxis pistillans, Lycoperdon spp. and others are collected from their natural habitats. During the course of surveys to commercial farms and forest areas, a number of interesting mycoparasites were collected on various edible mushrooms and other fleshy fungi. Detailed studies were carried out and results obtained are presented.
