Title: Studies on the Influence on the Mycelium Growth and Fruit Body Development by Growth Promoting Substances
Author: Shou Chen-Hsioh

Abstract:

The problems such as the weak and thin growth of the mycelium, the insufficient fruit body formation and reductions in yield often occur in mushroom cultivation. The key to overcome the problems is to improve the mycelium growth and to increase the uptake of nutrients from the compost. This paper reports that a new growth promoting substance of Agaricus bisporus named "Mushroom Robustin" abbreviated MR can increase the yield.
