Abstract: Moveable racks as can be seen from the photograph in Fig. 1 are very similar to trays except 4 tiers are fixed together and are moved as one. We used this type of design rather than trays because we used to be shelf growers when my father started growing. We liked the shelf system, but at that time we could not see how it could be mechanised.
