Title: 'Frost' Peach: A Symptomless Source of Cherry Mottle Leaf Disease
Authors: W.E. Howell and R.A. Norton
Abstract:
Trees presently used for producing scions of
'Frost' peach are contaminated with the agent
of cherry mottle leaf disease (CML), as deter
mined by tissue grafts on sensitive indicator
hosts.
Therefore, it is suggested that trees of
'Frost' not be planted near orchards of CML-susceptible
sweet cherries until a CML-free
propagation source is obtained.
