The list of 40 commonly used perennials is shown in detail both for characteristics and growth behavior in Hangzhou city. The iconography and comments of three spots were coordinated with the landscape design, so as to achieve the main principles for planting design of flower border. The valuable significance, prospective future, and the existing problems of the perennials utilizations in modern landscape were also discussed.
