| Abstract:
During a 3 year testing program a threshold strategy for the control of onion (Allium cepa L.) leaf diseases and pests was compared with growers` spraying schemes. By employing the threshold strategy more than 50% of the pesticides could be saved without any concession to yield or quality. | |
